Hello, my name is Larissa Lima. I'm Brazilian 25 years old, I’ve been living in Dublin for 3 years now, and I’m a college student at DBS. I’m communicative, trustworthy, punctual, funny, patient, and I have a lot of energy to play with kids. I love new cultures, and I am always open to learn a new thing. I love children and I love learning with them. When I arrived in Ireland I started work as an Aupair and I lived with an Irish family for a year. I took care of 2 lovely children, the boy was 9 years old and the girl 10 years old, they are great, we had so much fun. We used to do all activities together such as swimming, Kung fu, go to parks, cycle etc. I used to make food and I clean up the mess they left behind. Furthermore, during the weekend, I used to work as a babysitter, 3 little boys, they are 2, 3 and 5 years old, I used to help a single father. We used to go to playgrounds, parks, zoo, restaurants, etc. When I moved out from the Aupair family, I started to work as a Live-out minder. I worked with a family from London, a boy 3 years old and a Girl 6 years old, they are lovely. Because of the lockdown, we stopped working together. During the summer (2020), I worked as a full-time nanny to another Irish family, a girl 1.5 and a boy 3 years old, it was an amazing experience, I loved them so much. I had the opportunity to teach the little girl to say so many words and also her name and age, I will never forget them. As the kids went back to crèche they didn’t need me any more. At the end of July(2020), I start with another Irish family, they have 3 kids 5, 6, 7 years old, they are really creative children, and we play all the time. In Brazil, I took care of my sister since childhood, now she is 11. Also, I've done some babysitting occasionally, as I really like children, people always think about me when they require someone. I have experience with children of different ages, from newborn to pre-teens. I’m able to provide childcare services, such as changing nappies, bathing, giving food, making food, and tidy the mess that they leave behind also help with homework, picking up and dropping off at school. I would like to help with the growth and development of your children, it would be a pleasure for me. Furthermore, I’m a multilingual speaker, with native Portuguese, fluent English and currently also learning Spanish. I can also teach Portuguese to your children if they have an interest.
