Hi, I'm Daniela and most of my friends like to describe me as a sweet, caring and loving person. Most of my previous job experiences included taking care of children or animals. I did this for many years. But now I feel like I never gave enough attention to the elderly. I think they are like wise old trees that need to receive more love and respect instead of being ignored and left alone in their empty houses. That's why I'd like to offer my presence to give some company, emotional support, listening and give them some creative ideas to spend their time like painting together or doing some origami for example. I could even bring my ukulele to play some tunes to them. I'm not a health care assistant, I'm not certified even though I'd like to start a training in that field, so I can't give medical assistance, just a general help in simple tasks and lots of genuine care. The only experience I had was with my grandma when she was suffering of cancer, I spent the whole year around her to give her some support. And luckily she is still alive as if nothing has happened :)
