I am an 24 year old primary school teacher available for babysitting. I have worked a in a variety of jobs which has given me a wide range of experience with children. My previous work experience includes: -working in a children's party venue for 4 years, here we entertained both boys and girls ranging between ages 4 and 12. -working part-time in an after-school club for primary school children for over 2 years during college, in this role I mainly aided children with completing homework and learning social skills. -Volunteering as a Cub Scout Leader and Scout Leader in a local group for the past 10 years, I am now the main leader of the Cub Pack. -Working at an English language camp in Spain for 2 weeks where I was the carer and counselor for 10 girls aged 8-10. -Volunteering at English language camps in Poland and the Czech Republic with children and teens ranging from aged 6 to 18. -Tutoring children of all ages -Working as a substitute SNA (Special Needs Assistant) -Working as a Primary School Teacher in Co.Wicklow. I am currently in my second year in the school and am teaching First Class. During the COVID19 school closures I worked as a minder for a 4 and 7 year old, there was a focus on tutoring the 7 year old during the mornings and in the afternoons we did various activities, arts and crafts, and trips to the local park. I have also worked as a long-term nanny for a 2 and 4 year old, we spent most days in the local park and playground as well as doing arts and crafts and baking in their home. I am garda vetted, have basic first aid skills and I have completed the community first response certificate. I have a TEFL degree (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and I have also completed TUSLA safeguarding training. I have a drivers license and my own car and am willing to transport children if needed.
