Hi there, I am a qualified childcare professional trained in the UK with 10 years hands on experience working with children aged 3 months to 8 years old in private childcare settings and primary schools. My colleagues tell me that I have a calming affect on children and a lot of patience. I am a creative person; I love to sew, make greetings cards and jewellery. I involve this in my work by allowing the children the time and space to express their creative selves freely whether it is a craft activity, role play or small world play. I know that children learn and develop best when they are happy and relaxed so I form strong, trust based relationships with all the children that I work with. I have completed QQI Level 6 in Early Childcare and Education with Special Needs and recently completed a special needs course in the UK.
