Hello potential friends, my name is Sofia Paguaga, I am a 26 year-old girl an international student who is very calm, kind, charismatic, responsible and very empathetic with others. I decided to move to the beautiful Emerald Island almost 3 years ago for its quality of life, unmatched beauty and because it has the same name as my loved grandmother. When I made the decision to live this great experience, I did so with the purpose and mentality of leaving my comfort zone, learning about life and knowing even more about my virtues and strengths. I studied 4 years of the Physiotherapy career in my country, but unfortunately due to sociopolitical problems and the decision to moved was not finish, however I have all the knowledge acquired during all those years, in special care for elderly. I did a 6-month internship for a subject that was part of my study program, I accompanied them, helped with their mobility and supported their personal hygiene, however I would also like to add that I greatly respect and admire the elderly and I am very passionate when it comes to sharing time with them because at the same time I feel that I am sharing time with my grandmother who is no longer here with me, for these reasons mentioned is why I consider myself a good candidate for the elderly carer.
