Hello! My name is Leticia, I’m 26 years old, Brazilian, and currently living in Dublin with my husband. I am passionate about children and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them. Since I was 18 years old, I have dreamed of participating in an Au Pair program. Although I didn’t get the chance to fulfill that dream, my love and admiration for children have only grown stronger with every experience I’ve had. My journey working with children is extensive and filled with dedication. In Brazil, I earned degrees in Law and in Teaching, which provided me with a solid educational background. I worked as a substitute teacher at an international school, where I had the opportunity to interact with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups. For 7 years, I volunteered as a children’s teacher at my local church, working with kids aged 3 to 12 years old, which taught me the importance of being patient, creative, and responsible. Additionally, I worked as a children’s event monitor, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children during special occasions. Beyond my professional experience, I am also a devoted aunt to two wonderful kids—an 8-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl—and I have been actively present throughout their growth and development. I understand that every child is unique, and I always strive to adapt my approach to meet the individual needs and personalities of each one. What defines me as a babysitter?
