Hi! My name is Mylena, I’m 27 years old, and I’m Brazilian. I’m married to a Brazilian who holds Italian citizenship, and I’ve been living in Ireland for a month now. Throughout my life, I’ve had the opportunity to live in several countries, such as Malta, Scotland, Wales, and Italy, which has given me rich cultural and personal experiences. One of my most rewarding experiences was when I did volunteer work in Wales, taking care of three children: an 11-year-old, a 15-year-old, and a 16-year-old girl with Down syndrome. During the four months I spent with them, we did various activities, such as drawing, painting, playing cards, working with clay, and I also taught them Portuguese. In addition, I’ve also had the joy of taking care of my 1-year-and-9-month-old niece, whom I cared for until she was 6 months old. I also spent another 4 months with her recently in Brazil, which deepened my love for children even more. I absolutely love working with kids and have plenty of experience in child care. I’m always eager to learn more and connect with them in a meaningful way.
