Dear host family, I'm Veronica and I’m 19 years old. I live in Italy, in a little town near Venice and Padua, where I’ve just finished my last year of High School (I’ve studied administration, finance and marketing). In my family there are 4 of us: me, my dad, who is a tinsmith; my mom, who is a housewife and my sister, who is 18 years old and she is studying at High school. Then we have got two dogs of 6 and 4 years old. When I was younger I did lots of sports, the ones I've been doing the longest are basket for 3 years and kick boxing for 5 years. But my passion are motorcycles, in fact I started riding a scooter when I was 13 years old, then at 16 I took the driving license for the motorcycles. I really enjoy exploring other countries and meeting new cultures, but I haven't visited many countries yet. In 2022 I did an exam and I won a trip of two weeks in Ireland (Cork), where I stayed in a host house without my friends: at the beginning it was difficult, but then I found out how beautiful is staying alone and discovering better my host family. Then last year I went on a trip with my classmates in Austria, where we stayed 5 days. I really like children, in fact in the past, during the summer, I've worked as an entertainer. Now that I’ve finished school, I’d really like to improve my English or Spanish, to meet new friendly people and to meet new customs! I can’t wait to meet you, Veronica!
