My name is Hattie, I am originally from Australia but have been living in Dundalk for the last few months, as an artist in residnce at Creative spark. I was a team leader at a before and afterschool care centre in Sydney for 4 years. My job entailed: - organising and Supervising large groups of children - programming and facilitating activities for the children that had a strong focus on creative and imaginiative play - Managing the school garden and gardening club, where I lead outdoor activities, fostering the children's connection with nature and understanding about sustainability. - Managing a garden to table cooking program where I taught the children about healthy and creative cooking with homegrown and native ingredients as well as encouraging the children’s exploration of new flavours and confidence in the kitchen. - facilitating safe and enjoyable environments for children with learning disabilities, ASD and ODD.
