Hello! My name is Naomi Judith, and I am a hardworking, diligent au-pair currently based in Dublin. I recently moved from Cape Town to Ireland, leaving behind a five-year career as a paralegal to pursue a better quality of life and study psychology at Dublin Business School. I’ve loved babies and children for as long as I can remember. My mother trained first as a doula and then as a midwife. I grew up surrounded by babies and children of all ages. As I got older, I started to babysit the children my mom had delivered, helping moms after they’d given birth by watching their toddlers. I travelled with families on their holidays to help with watching their baby/toddler during the day and to help with night shifts. Because of my Mom’s expertise on anything pregnancy, birth, or child related, I grew up with a wealth of knowledge. Being homeschooled only made this easier. Mother’s would come over for tea with their new born babies and toddlers and we would constantly be learning about taking care of children. We were also able to babysit during school hours, which made us available and flexible for parents.
