I am Yuko Sato from Japan and have studied English language school for 6 months, and have a working holiday visa until 23th November 2024. I was a nurse in Japan for seven years. I gained experience in two hospitals. One was an acute care hospital, where I mainly cared for patients with plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, collagen diseases and diabetes. The other was a convalescent hospital, where I mainly cared for elderly and dementia patients. I also worked day and night shifts. There are a lot of elderly people in Japan and nursing care is very important for us. I have been involved in healthcare for seven years and communicated with many different people. There have been many difficulties, but I think it has helped me to grow. Through my experiences, I have realised that I like communicating with people more than anything else. And I like Ireland very much. If I am given the opportunity, I will do my best.
