Hello! My name is Ellen, and I'm a 24-year-old Irish graduate with a degree in Commerce and French. I have a passion for working with children and have been involved in childcare since I was 16. I'm known for my friendly and kind nature, and I love spending time with kids. During my teenage years, I started childminding and babysitting for families, caring for children as young as 6 months old. For three years, I was the primary caregiver for a family four days a week, where I also taught one of the children piano. We enjoyed activities like helping with homework, playing on the beach, and practicing music together. Recently, I spent three months as an au pair in the South of France, looking after an eight-year-old. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, taking her to various places like the beach, pool, parks, and museums. Aside from childcare, I'm a qualified sailing instructor and have spent four summers teaching sailing to kids aged 10-16. This role required careful planning and organization to ensure the children learned while having fun on the water. Additionally, I spent a year in Paris teaching English in primary schools after graduating. It was a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture and further develop my teaching skills. I'm excited about the possibility of continuing to work with children and would love to bring my skills and experiences to a new role.
