Hi all! I'm a self-employed Irish 37yr old woman based in D6 with 20+ years of childminding experience. I have a car and a full license, so also available for pickups/drop offs. My available hours are afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I'm looking for ad-hoc babysitting work as I'm not available on a regular weekly basis. My rate is €18-20 per hour with a flat rate available for overnights. I have done a lot of childminding over the years whilst building up what is now my primary business (marketing) and I love working with kids. My usual work involves sitting at a laptop all day so I really enjoy getting to spend time with the fun little people I've looked after and gotten to know. I've looked after kids from newborns to teens to looking after a family of 5 all under the age of 7. I've also worked as a primary school English (ESL) teacher in Asia with kids from 3-13 years old. I have had plenty of experience from the start helping to rear my own wee brother and sister due to a 10 year age gap (I think that's always the way when there's a big age gap, you become the second Mammy!). As my business took off I stopped the childminding a few years ago but now that I'm in the swing of things I'd like to take it up again to supplement my income. My last regular childminding work was about 3 years ago, and I can provide a reference from that if needed. I have done a bit of babysitting since then also.
