As a nanny I hope I can provide quality time with your kids, helping them with their difficulties and improving their skills and achieve their goals everyday. I am very creative and would love to involve kids in creating, building and imagining new ways to enjoy their time while not in school or homework time. I am very good with routines and think this is an important key to make things work at home, especially because routine let children know what to expect from them, decreasing angry moods during the day. As my experience minding children, I used to do some babysitting in my hometown in Brazil, Porto Alegre and in 2012 I came to Ireland for a Student Exchange to improve my English and know better the culture and I worked as an au pair for two Irish families, one of them I lost contact in this past years but the other one I still have contact and can provide references if you wish. My activities with them usually were to cook meals, help get dress to school, have fun activities after school like play games, go to the playground, to the movies, go for a walk, etc. I have background in Clinical and Educational Psychology in Brazil and had worked with kids and teenagers as a self employee there for more than six years by now. These background help me to have a new look at while minding children. I can observe better their development and help them improve something if necessary... From 2022 to 2023 I did some volunteer in a Scouts Group in Brazil with kids from 6 to 10 years old, helping them with social skills, autonomy training and planning and implementing new activities inside and outdoors in the nature. By me, I came from a big and united family. We use to share the responsibilities about elders, children and teenagers around the family. Everyone use to help how they could. I have two nephews, now ages 8 and 11, but I used to mind them while my sister was at work since they were newborns while I was in my free time and I had the best time being an auntie. I have just arrived back in Ireland and I am still trying to get a recognition of my bachelor's degree diploma, but I am plenty of time to help with your kids and have fun with them.
