I hold a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Coimbra in Portugal, specialized in education and development. I have worked mainly in the area of education and special needs, having worked with children with cerebral palsy where my main responsibilities were 1:1 support developing cognitive abilities, emotional support and development evaluation. After that I went on to London and have worked with children and young adults with autism, mostly on a 1:1 basis as well in settings such as class, community, home and supported work experiences. I have learnt about PBS, ABA and developed resources and materials for learning, worked along speech and occupational therapist and followed BACB´s behavioral programs. I am now looking to move to Ireland and continue on growing within psychology, special needs and behavior therapy areas.
