My name is Jessica. I'm 32 years old. I spent the first 10 years of my adult life being a full time carer for my Mum. After she passed, I found myself in a childcare role. My friend needed a temporary Nanny until she could find someone full time and the rest is history. I currently look after two amazing children, one girl who is two years old and one boy who is six months old. I have been with them since April 2023 when the little boy was born and have even been lucky enough to travel abroad with them. Since this is now only one day a week for a couple of hours, I'm looking for something more full time to go along with it as I have every intention of staying with them as long as they'd like me to. I was with my previous family for almost a year until I was no longer needed due to maternity leave. I looked after two wonderful little girls, one with additional needs. I did light housework, drove to and from pre school for the older girl and brought the younger girl on walks, to the library, play center's, farm, etc. Whether we were inside or outside we were always doing something fun. I have experience with nappy changing, bottle/spoon/baby led feeding, potty training, peg feeding and administering medication. I love the gentle parenting approach to childcare and always try my best to defuse any situation with understanding and empathy. Your child's happiness and safety is my number one priority while they're in my care. I'm a non smoker with a full clean drivers licence and have room in my car for two car seats.
