Hi dear host family. How are you? I hope well, after this long period of pandemic. I will introduce myself, my name is Thaisa, I am Brazilian, I lived in São Paulo, with my husband and my mother, I am 30 years old and I came to Ireland to learn English, I took some courses in Brazil, but I believe that the experience will unlock my vocabulary, my classes will be in the morning. I have a godson and many nephews at heart. My mother has Glaucoma, a visual disease, so I learned from a young age some precautions to make her life more peaceful, such as cooking, being careful when accompanying her and paying close attention to medical indications. Thanks to the support network I have in my country, I was able to come here to develop my English. Still in São Paulo, I participated in a group of young people from the Church and we would go to orphanages and nursing homes to spend an afternoon of conversations and games. I am attentive, patient, organized, curious and I cook. My husband loves children and he encouraged me when he said he wanted to take care of children here. I have a degree in Tourism, I worked in a large tourism company in Brazil and lastly a corporate tourism agency.
