Hello, my name is Lucia, I am 26 years old, I am an industrial engineer and I have come to Dublin to work and live in an international environment. I am a focused, open-minded, outgoing and friendly person. Since I was 18 years old, when I moved to Madrid to study, I have been living alone. First I spent 2 years in a student residence, where I lived with people from different countries and cultures. Then, I have lived with different roommates for more than 7 years until now. This, together with my passion for traveling and my different trips around the world have made me a resolute and mature person, especially in difficult situations. In terms of my experience with children, they are also a source of inspiration for me teaching me important lessons in terms of how imagination can be limitless or how I can find happiness in the smallest of things. I feel very fortunate of being surrounded by children during my daily life as I belong to a big family with a lot of cousins. Also from my friends, for example Valentina (one of my friend's daughters), who recently turned 4 years old. I usually take care of her whenever I can since she was a baby, helping with basic care such as meals, showers and transportation to school. We love going for walks in the countryside with Rita, the family dog, biking, drawing, jumping on the trampoline in the garden, and dancing with all Disney movie songs, especially if they are from Frozen. I also make sure Valentina spends time with other kids of her age, as I believe it is essential for her to interact with other children to expand her communication skills and adopt values like generosity and empathy. Furthermore, I have significant experience taking care and interacting with children outside of my family. At the age of 16, I volunteered to be a Leisure and Free Time Instructor for children at my High School in my hometown. As an instructor, my role consisted in organizing and carrying out leisure and socio-educational activities for a group of around 25 and 8 to 14 years old at the High School facilities. I was the main person responsible for their tutoring and entertainment. Moreover, I was responsible for taking care of my group of children during weekend trips organized together with the High School that took place once a month.
