I have been working with a family of an autistic child (12 -14) over the last two years
in the two years I have been working with the child I have de-escalated major anger outburst to cooking to setting activities up
the child is non verbal (sort of) the child will comuicate in her own way and I fully understand her
My sister had a lack of O² to her brain due to being stuck in the birth canal which caused cerebral palsy. My mom has epilepsy and she had a really bad stint where she was seizing most nights and I was the main caregiver as my older siblings had too much to do with work ect and my younger siblings were too young at the time.
