Hello! My name is Ella -- I'm an American girl living in Galway looking for a child minding or babysitting job. I was a nanny back in the states virtually all of my life: starting at 14 years old I would babysit around the neighborhood a few nights here and there, which eventually grew to being a full time nanny in the summers throughout college. During this time the two families I nannied for were a family of 4 girls (ages newborn, 2, 4, and 7) and another family of 2 girls (ages 13 and 8). After college, I became a full time nanny for a family of two boys (ages newborn and 4). Needless to say, I've been all over the spectrum in terms of age, gender, and interests. For the past couple of years I worked a corporate job, but I never fully have the same satisfaction at the end of the day as I do when I'm with children. I love to play, to teach, to care, to be outdoors, to play music, and to be overall fully involved in the child's life for the time that I'm in it. I'm comfortable with all of it -- from the burping to the feeding to the bathing, from the potty training to the homework help to the cleaning. There's no greater joy to me than seeing the world through the eyes of a child, and I'm hoping to go back into the babysitting world now that I'm in Galway. I have the skills, the experience, the knowledge, but most importantly the passion and excitement when it comes to being around kids. Everyday is an adventure, and I hope that adventure includes you! :)
