Dear Host Family, My name is Pilar Aliaga. I am 18 years old and I live in Argentina with my family. I have got three older brohers. We are a very close and communicative family. My family is very large and I love that about it. My mother has two sisters and two brothers, and my father has three sisters and one brother so I have many uncles, aunts and little cousins. I love children and I have been taking care of my cousins for as long as I can remember. When my uncles and aunts are not at home I stay with mi cousins. I prepare their food, help them with summer homework, we play and do crafts together. I have always been surrounded by children! Also, I love working with children because they get the best out of myself and I try to show them how to do their best. It is a very rewarding job. I have experience in taking care of children aged between 3 and 13 years old. In 2020 I took care of five children, the youngest was 6 years old and the oldest was 12. I lived in their house for a full month. The experience was great. I used to wake them up and then we had breakfast together. I helped them get dressed, helped them attend virtual school and helped them with their summer homework Besides childcare experience, I'm also keen on reading books in my leisure time, listen some music and watch movies, travelling and learning about other cultures and ways of life, meeting new people, talking and sharing experiences and going out with friends. When I finished high school, I decided to study abroad. For me, it was one of the most important decisions of my life. I believe that living away from home is going to teach me to appreciate many things, to be much more responsible than I was before. I'm going to grow as a person.
