Hi, my name is Carla, I’m 26 years old and I come from Brazil and came to Ireland to study English at Griffith College Cork. I am very dedicated, patient and creative, which I believe is very important when dealing with children. I have always had a lot of contact with children in Brazil, as I have many younger cousins. I started taking care of children when I was 15 years old. I took care of a 4-year-old girl and was responsible for taking care of her during the afternoon, preparing her meals, and snacks, helping with personal hygiene and playing games. After that experience, I was a babysitter for some neighbors who needed to be away and couldn't take the kids with them. I would like this opportunity because I'm sure it will contribute a lot to the improvement of my English, in addition to being a super enriching experience.
