As the eldest grandchild on both sides of my family, I naturally adopted a caring role surrounding my grandparents. This advanced when my grandfather developed Parkinson’s and later, dementia. When starting college I was thinking of which job I should get to support myself and thought of how much I enjoy helping people and being involved in the community, so I began working as a carer. I absolutely love it. I like to make people smile and provide quality care to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. I have now been working over a year as a professional care, having experience in private and agency care, as well as nursing home care.
