During my teaching training and teaching employments to date I have had the opportunity to work in Outstanding Schools Overseas and gain a wide range of teaching experience in a variety of settings. Initially, I achieved a TEFL qualification in the University of Limerick. Following on from this, I obtained my PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Sunderland, UK. I achieved my qualification in Dubai whilst employed as a full time teacher which demonstrates dedication. I spent seven years working in the UAE as a Mainstream Class Teacher gaining a special aptitude for teaching younger students. Since returning home to Ireland, I have had 2 years teaching experience in the Irish Primary Education system. I have 9 years experience tutoring students. Each student had individual learning targets based on their individual needs, next steps were included to ensure students could reach their targets. I have experience working with children who have special needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and dyslexia.
