I have a 2.1 teaching degree from the University of Buckingham. My teaching journey began as an unqualified teacher in Bahrain in 2013 in an International Independent School, before moving to the UK to consolidate my knowledge and complete my professional teaching qualification. I worked and studied full-time as a student-teacher with sole responsibility of my Year 2 (age 5-6) class, before completing my NQT year as a Year 5 (age 9-10) Class Teacher. John Keble is a Mainstream school which was inclusive of SEN and ASD children. I moved from London in December and have since been offering educational support for children at home during school closures (age range 4-12) in Offaly, Ireland. I have been taking action to develop my teaching skills completing a number of courses such as the Online Primary School Teachers Course with Dyslexia Ireland in March of this year. My greatest strengths include: working collaboratively with others, building a rapport with children, parents and teachers, developing extra-curricular activities for children, learning of new developments in science, Maths, literacy and developing ICT skills in children for the future.
