Hi. My name is Karen Colgan. I am based in the Knocknacarra/Cappagh area of Galway city. I am a qualified and registered English and Geography secondary school teacher. I am TEFL qualified with experience. I have also some SEN experience. I have tutored here in Galway city both privately and voluntary. Additionally, I have marked for the state examinations and for Exam craft for a number of years. I have worked in the London for 18 months teaching mainly Geography and some English and RE to GCSE level. I have recently successfully completed a QQI Level 6 certificate in Training and Development during the Autumn/Winter lockdown. I love working with children and teenagers.
