Getting a surprise little brother at age 10, I could argue that I've been a childminder most of my life! I have plenty experience minding children, not just my little brother, minding neighbours kids and cousins etc. Last summer, I babysat for a family with a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old. My responsibilities regularly feeding them, bringing them out and about, accompanying the family on trips, as well as some light housework for the family. I thorougly enjoyed the role and I would hope to find something similar this year. I would describe myself as a warm, kind individual, with tons of patience, something I have learned over the years is essential when minding kids. I love to cook, savoury or sweet, I take great pride in my skills and take any opportunity to cook. After a couple years experience as a waitress, I have developed good organisational skills and I really believe I can handle any challenge thrown at me, through dealing with all sorts of customers. I genuinely enjoy looking after kids. I love the outdoors, being out in the fresh air couldn't think of anything better, especially if the sun is out!
