Hello my name is Yvonne and I am a mother of two beautiful daughters who now both live in London, I miss them terribly. I am a designer by training but in 2012 I was approached by a family on my road asking me would I be interested in caring and transporting their children and looking after their every need. Little did I know where this would lead to and the satisfaction it would give me all these years later. I have so many interests one being the outdoors and I love to get the children out and about with me. I also love cooking, painting and gardening and I try to encourage the children to get involved in these activities. Life should not all be about school work I feel. I like to provide a safe, warm, caring environment that they feel safe and happy in. I love my chats with them seeing their different personalities and catering to their individual needs. Seeing them develop and grow and feeling that I am part of it has been very rewarding. I have also just completed a carer’s course which will also help with regards to the children’s needs both medically and physically. The children I have minded have enriched my life in my ways and it would make me happy if I thought that I was doing the same for them. X
