Hello, I am Cris. I would like to return to Dublin (from Frankfurt) after I studied English and worked there as an au pair last year. I have several years of experience working with children from 2 to 10 years old for two different families. In Blackrock I worked with a lovely family who still keep in touch with to talk to their beautiful 2 and 4 year old children. I loved to teach the children many different things, but I probably learned even more. I was always very active with these children from playing soccer, dancing, singing and mind exercises using arts to stimulate their creativity. My responsibilities included school drop offs and pick ups. I cooked for an with the children, which was a lot of fun. I love to spend time with children, because I feel like I am living the childhood that I never really had and can get excited about the games we play. I like to do simple things with the children that were normal before everybody spent to much time on a screen like going outside, reading, play board games and learning more about different cultures and the world. It is amazing how much fun they can have without electronics. You can expect somebody that always smiles and is highly responsible. The most beautiful thing with children is to see how they learn and become learning and thinking human beings...I look forward to speaking with them a lot so that I can also learn and improve my English and maybe teach them some Spanish and Portuguese.
