Hello my name is Ewelyn. I’m 21y and I’m from Brazil. I came to Ireland in order to learn English and now I’m applying for residency. In Brazil I took care of my little sister since she was born because my mum used to work a lot. In Ireland I worked with kids for almost 2 years, with two different families. On the first family I took care of three boys (1,4,5) and I worked there for six months; there I used to: • get the boys ready for school • prepare breakfast • take them to school • pick them up to school • prepared their lunch • give them a bath • do their laundry • do some light cleaning • babysitting at evening On the second family where I stayed a bit longer, I also took care of three boys (5 days, 4, 6), where my duties were: • get them ready for school • prepared their breakfast • prepared their lunches for school and their school bags • give them baths • feed the baby • do their laundry • get them ready for extra activities • give their dinner • read their books • put them to bed * I also used to take them to the park, to the library and to the cinema whenever I had the chance.
