Review absence of shift
I am writing review about minder Caroline. We first contact Caroline I in order cover my actual minder during her holidays. After a conversation and interview, she agreed to attend our child aged 2, for 3 days On the first day everything was nice and smooth, we pick up my child at the usual time on local creche and he had his afternoon routine. However at second day Caroline was asking to leave early due a second job extra office work, I agreed , and we let she leave early, we expected her to come back nest day , as planned . Again on Friday she left a message saying she would not attend our child due responsibility with a second job, and suggest many different people to cover her absence. I understand that staff absences and emergencies can occur, but I would have expected she would to have proper coverage and contingency plans for her other job , before she accept our offer. As a parent , we know the care and safety of the children should be in first plan and simple leaving our young children unattended at last minute, wouldn’t be a option, or suggesting other options was completely unacceptable and a serious breach of your duty of care. We hope this situation does not happen with a second family, we understand this kind of action is simply not accepted acceptable from a dedicated minder.
