My name is Celine. I currently live in the area Rathmines/Rathgar originally from County Monaghan and I am completing my Masters degree. I have a lot of experience minding children. During the summers of 2018 and 2019, I was employed to look after four children, aged 2, 4, 6 and 7. I had full responsibility for the welfare of these children from morning to early evening five days a week as both parents worked full-time. This involved cooking their meals, entertaining them indoors and outside and preparing them for bed. I also have experience looking after older children as I sometimes babysit for a lady whose children are aged 7-13. I most recently have minded a family of 4 children, involving school pick ups, preparing snacks/meals, assisting with homework etc. I have spent a lot of time during my teen years in my mother's primary school helping out with different events and supervising children of all ages. This is one of the reasons why I love working with children. I have a big interest in children's education and love helping them with their reading and homework. As part of my Human Nutrition course in college, I have a large passion for food and enjoy involving the children in simple food preparation and baking. From previous experience, I've noticed that children love to be included in these exciting and different tasks. I find that tasks like these, as well as other craft activities, keep children occupied and away from constant technology.
