We’re looking for someone to support us and our 2 kids in our home in Rathfarnham 4 days a week (Mon - Thurs). The role would involve dropping and collecting our kids (6 and 8) to / from school, taking them to after-school activities / looking after them in the afternoons. Hours would be 8am - 5pm. When the kids are in school there would be meal prep for their lunch and dinner, and light household chores (kids clothes washing, tidying their rooms / playroom). The school is within walking distance, but we would prefer if the kids can be dropped / collected by car on wet days / when there are afterschool activities. A childminders own transport would be preferable, but the family car can be made available. A full driving licence and ability to collect the kids / take them to afterschool activities by car is a requirement for this role. Please note we also have a dog, so candidates would need to be comfortable with dogs. The role would involve: - School drop off for 8.50am and 9am and collections at 1.30 and 2.30 in Rathfarnham - Drop off / collection from after-school activities - Preparation of lunch / after-school snacks and kids dinner - Support with homework - Afternoon entertainment when kids are not in activities Requirements for role include: - Garda vetted - Previous experience and references - Full driving licence - Own transport (preferable, but not a necessity)
