We are a happy family of 4- Aileen (Mum), James (Dad), Sile (5) and Con (3 years). We are looking for an au pair or minder to start as soon as possible. The position is full time Monday to Thursdays 7am to 18:00. During the school year, the children will be in montessori from 08:45 to 13:45. I generally go to work around 7:20 in the morning and need someone to drop them to the Montessori (walking distance from our home) and collect them and mind them until I arrive from work. The children go to Montessori from 8:45 to 13:45. Sile has afternoon activities locally on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons which she needs to be dropped and collected from. We can be a little flexible with times if that helps. We hope you will enjoy your time living in our home, improve your English, travel and make new friends. We live in Rathmines, a vibrant area with lots of bars and restaurants and parks, 25 minute walk or 3 stops on the tram from Dublin city centre. There are lots of au pairs in the area to make friends with. You will have your own room with ensuite bathroom with wifi (for au pair). Your food will be included. Our main expectations are that you are kind and loving towards our children. We expect you to be responsible and safety conscious. We would like you to engage with our children doing activities such as bringing them to the local playgrounds, do arts and crafts, games and reading. The only light housework expected would be to feed the children light meals and clean up after yourself and the children. For au pairs, we may ask you to babysit one evening every 2 weeks for extra money. Evenings and weekends are your own.
