Currently we have 3 small rescue dogs of our own and we're minding a friend's small dog for the time being. They are all gentle, friendly and sweet, but they have all had difficult times so they need compassion and patience. We're looking for someone who loves the company of dogs. Someone who would be happy to come here and work remotely, watch Netflix, write, read or whatever, in the company of little dogs. We need help on an ad hoc basis and can generally give dates well ahead of time. There's scope for longer stays to cover holidays etc... We have a 16 year old Chihuahua called Baby, a 2 year shiney little black terrier girl called Birdie, a 4 year old French Bulldog cross called Luna (in the photo) and we're looking after Lily who is a nine year old West Highland Terrier. Baby doesn't need walks, Lily gets walked on the lead with the other two and Luna and Birdie need an hour walk each day. The three younger ones love to play in the field and protect the house from birds and squirrels. They all sleep in the bedroom and have full access to all of the house. We don't ever shut them out or away from us. Baby is on daily medication and takes it easily in food. They are all very loving and sweet and all very different. Birdie and Luna are devoted to each other, and show Baby the respect she deserves. Lily comes from a home where she is an only dog so she is still learning how to play and share.

The days and times are not regular as we're here mostly or bring dogs with us. But sometimes we want to have a night away or go away for weekends where we don't bring the dogs.
