Darragh will be 14 in June. He is good natured and happy. As his school is not doing July Provision again this year year, I'm looking for someone who can keep him company and bring him for walks and play some very basic games with him. We have a busy house, with 3 older teens / young adults and his dad travels a lot for work, so an extra pair of hands would be very helpful. I'm thinking a few hours a day, or a few hours a few times a week. We are very flexible. Own transport would be a huge advantage, so you could take him on short trips locally for variety. Darragh has type 1 diabetes, but it is very under control. He has moderate autism and is intellectually disabled, but is gentle and happy and eager to please, not in any way aggressive, no melt downs etc. If you have availability over the summer, and maybe even beyond the summer, please do get in touch.
