Hello! I am looking for a companion/carer to visit my mum in her home in Ballsbridge for an hour a day Tuesday - Friday, at lunch time or during the early afternoon (sometime between 1pm and 3.30 would be ideal). Mum is 87, and is mobile (although slow) and living independently. She is in the early stage of dementia and her short -term memory is affected but she is largely self-sufficient. I am looking for someone who could offer her companionship, warmth and care, and someone to check on her and remind her to take her medication. She eats very little so if you could encourage her to eat it would be a huge bonus!
