Hello everyone! We are a family in search of a caring childminder to look after our 14 month old twin girls full time from June 9 to September 12, with the preferred arrangement being at our home. Here are a few key qualities we are looking for in our ideal childminder: - First Aid and CPR Training: We value the safety and well-being of our little ones above all else. Having a childminder who is trained in first aid and CPR would provide us with peace of mind. - Garda Vetted: Ensuring the security and trustworthiness of our childminder is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, Garda vetting is a mandatory requirement. - Driving (Bonus): While not essential, having a childminder who can drive would be a bonus. This would allow for greater flexibility in case of emergencies or outings. - Childcare Qualification (Bonus): A childcare qualification would also be seen as a bonus. It demonstrates a professional understanding of child development and appropriate care practices. Our little girls are energetic and sociable who thrive on interaction, play and routine. They currently sleep between 3-4 hours per day with two daily naps at 10am and 2pm. We hope to find a childminder who can provide a social and interactive atmosphere.
