- We are looking to fill a role for our son on Thursday afternoons. He is 24 and has special needs ( learning delay) but is reasonably independent. He is based in Dun Laoghaire at Adult services from 9-3.30 Monday to Friday. He usually then gets Dart to his old childminder - until 6.30 when he then walks home himself. We live in Donnybrook. However, he has recently started working on Thursdays in Supervalue in Churchtown. He starts at 6.30 pm and therefore it’s a long trek to go to normal childminder and then on to Churchtown (plus he needs to eat dinner before work). So ideally we are looking for him to go, on Thursdays, to someone in the Churchtown locality. He would get bus from Dun Laoghaire so it would be after 4.15 before would get there and then needs to be at Supervalue for just before 6.30. He would need dinner before heading to work. He has loads of younger cousins who he adores so in fact he enjoys being in a busy house with lots going on. We would be happy to pay €50 per week. Realise this is an unusual job spec !
