We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time nanny to join our family in a live-in position. The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for our newborn (due June 13, 2025) and we might need help the odd time with our 20 month-old son. This position offers the unique opportunity to become part of our household, with accommodation and all meals provided. Job Responsibilities: Newborn Care (First Five Months): Provide night-time care for our newborn, initially working from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (5 nights per week). Duties include listening for the baby on a monitor, attending to their needs during the night, including feeding and changing. You will have your own bedroom and may sleep during the night shift, though you will need to be alert to the baby’s needs. Post-Five Months: After the baby transitions to sleeping through the night, the role will shift to day shifts, including minimal hours on a Saturday. The nanny will assist with the baby for a few hours each day, with flexible hours agreed in advance. Occasional babysitting hours may be required, for which additional compensation will be provided. Additional Duties: You may assist with care for our 20 month-old son, who is in full-time daycare Monday through Friday. You will assist with him during weekends and occasionally during the week as needed. Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience in caring for a newborn would be a bonus Proficiency in English (basic to intermediate level) Warm, nurturing, and flexible attitude Ability to work independently as well as within a family setting.
