Hi! We are looking for a lovely nanny/family assistant to shadow and take over the position of looking after a 12 year old non binary autistic child with low support needs for a family from the US. Duties include: -School pick up -Preparing simple foods (dinner, packed school lunch) for the child (bonus if you like to cook for the mother and yourself but not expected or necessary at all). -Help with the after school and bedtime routine. -Communicating with the child's teachers and providing homework help. -Supporting school activities (not many) -Researching, understanding and being supportive of the child's special interests and needs. -Occasional Grocery and personal shopping/ keeping the household stocked/tidy.- no deep cleaning necessary as the family also employees a housekeeper. -Working with other household staff. -Helping manage the needs of their service dog (must love dogs!) -Willing to do occasional weekends, overnights, or travel with the family. -Managing the child's schedule- including doctors appointments, therapies, play dates, after school activities, birthday parties, etc. -Occasionally helping with the mothers schedule, appointments, etc. -Experience with apple calendar and being generally adept at tech is a bonus. -Having a high level of privacy and discretion. Minimum 3 years experience as a nanny or family assistant. Experience with neurodivergent kids is preferred. Compensation DOE but is competitive. Family will need around 30-40 hours a week with occasional overtime.
