Job Title: Nanny for Infant (6 months old) Location: Castleisland, County Kerry Job Type: Part-time (2–3 days per week, 9 AM – 5 PM) Job Summary: We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny to care for our baby boy. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and fun, ensuring the baby's daily routine is followed, including feeding, naps, playtime, and outings. This role involves working closely with the parents and occasional coordination with other caregivers. About Us: We are a small family of three, and this role is to help care for our firstborn. Dad is Irish and Mum is English. Both parents are professionals, and Mum works from home, running her own business. We are looking for someone to provide attentive care in our home, following baby’s established routine. While Mum will be working in the home office, she will be available in case of emergencies. Baby is a happy, smiling baby boy who only cries when he needs something or is teething. He is easygoing and enjoys interaction, play, and bonding. We are seeking a gentle, engaging nanny who will maintain his routine while creating a loving and fun environment for him. Key Responsibilities: Daily Care & Routine Feeding Play & Development Outings & Walks Sleep & Comfort Childcare-Related Household Tasks Health & Safety Requirements: Prior experience as a nanny, babysitter, or childcare provider. Garda Vetting or equivalent background check. First Aid and Infant CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of infant development and care. Non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a structured schedule. Physically able to lift, carry, and engage in active play. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with infant weaning and meal preparation. Knowledge of infant sleep patterns and routines. Background in early childhood education or child development. Schedule & Compensation: Hours: 2–3 days per week (9 AM – 5 PM), with a one-hour break.
