Job Title: Live-in Carer Location: Navan Co.Meath Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Live-in Driving Required: Preferred but not essential Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced live-in carer to provide support and companionship for an elderly lady in her own home. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, and proactive in ensuring her well-being, comfort, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting Assist with mobility and use of any mobility aids Administer medication as prescribed and keep accurate records Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to dietary needs Carry out light housekeeping, including laundry and maintaining a clean environment Offer companionship and emotional support Accompany to medical appointments and social outings (if driving) Monitor health and report any concerns to family or healthcare professionals Assist with shopping, errands, and other household tasks Encourage light exercise and mental stimulation activities Requirements: Experience in a similar role preferred Kind, patient, and reliable with a caring nature Good communication skills Ability to work independently and take initiative First aid training is beneficial Driving license preferred but not essential If you are interested in this role, please email CV and references.
