We are looking for a full-time live-in caregiver to look after our 2 elderly parents in Slane Co. Meath. Mother is 89 years old, has dimentia, needs assistance with most daily tasks but is able to feed herself. She attends a day centre 2 days a week and is home 5 days a week. Father is 84 years old, has cancer and is very frail but has full mental function. He is home 7 days per week. They are already receiving care from HSE provided nurses 40 hours per week to assist with mornings, lunch and evenings but we need a full-time (6 days a week) carer to supplement and be there for companionship, meals, assistance with bathroom, occasional overnight assistance, light housework and ocassional driving. Room (own room with TV and own bathroom with shower) and board is provided plus a monthly salary.
