We are looking for someone to help our family continue to care for our much loved, elderly father in our home (regular set and flexible work available). Now in his late 80s, he has advanced Alzheimer’s and arthritis in his legs. This role requires someone kind, patient, discrete and respectful, with prior nursing, care assistant or care of the elderly experience. Types of duties include assisting with daily general hygiene, eg showering, shaving, dressing, changing of his bed clothes, simple food preparation/serving of meals, light housework and socialisation (games, conversation etc). Car a bonus if comfortable doing outings.
