Hi I'm looking for an au-pair to mind 3 boys in Straffan Co Kildare (about 8 mins from the University town of Maynooth, 40 mins by bus to Dublin City Centre). There are lots of au-pairs nearby, especially in Maynooth. Our current au-pair build up a really good set of friends. The 3 boys are aged 11 (6th class), 9 (2nd class) and the youngest is 4 (In preschool). I'm looking for someone full time Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm each day. Friday may be a slightly shorter day. I'm ideally looking for someone who has a little bit of flexibility but I can assure you this won't be abused. The two older boys are in school from 9.05am to 3pm and the school is only a short walk from the house. The youngest attends playschool from 12.45pm to 3.45pm. I'm ideally looking for someone who will keep the house running for me, not heavy housework, I have a lovely lady who comes on a Friday to do a deep clean but light house work like loading the dishwasher, putting on a wash to keep the laundry from overflowing, just enough to keep things running. I'd like this person to really be part of our family so help the kids with the homework, prepare dinner for the kids and create a warm caring and kind environment for them. We have a wonderful au-pair who has been with us for almost 3 years now. but she wants to pursue her career in bakery which is why she is leaving in December but you could happily speak to both to get a feel of how it is. There would be a bit of a break in the day from 12.45pm to 3pm until the older boys come back from school. I am ideally looking for someone drive but will consider non drivers too, only because the playschool is a 5 minute drive away.
