Opportunity available to care for elderly man living in Bushypark, Galway. Care required for two separate shifts as follows: Weekday shift: One afternoon per day Monday -Friday. 2-3 hours . Weekend shift: Saturday and Sunday afternoons 2-3 hours Tasks: • Prepare and serve a hot, healthy meal • Change incontinence briefs • Some general housework/cleaning/laundry • Help the client to go for a short walk or bring them for a short walk in their wheelchair • General company /companionship We are ideally looking for two separate carers for each shift, but we will consider the same person for both. We are open to discussing a small adjustment to the timing of the shift(s) if required. Care giver will need their own transport as the location is not accessible via public transport.
