Hi potential au pairs! We are a couple looking for an au pair to care for our two young children – a soon to be 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl in their home. They are both very pleasant, active and curious children who love the outdoors! It is important to us that you enjoy spending time with children and you have some experience in this field. I will be working from home from 8-4 and will therefore be available on lunch breaks to help out. My partner works in the aviation industry. Some weeks he may be off for a few days mid week. He works the early shift so he may be around a lot in the afternoon to help with the children. Our son will be attending preschool from 9-12 Monday to Friday and will nap afterwards, therefore it will be mainly our 1 year old daughter that you'll be minding. You will be provided with your own private bedroom to include a wardrobe, television, mirror, desk, lamp and anything else you may need. We have previously hosted international students in our home and found it very rewarding and a great experience for our children! Our home is based in Portmarnock, Co Dublin. This is a beautiful costal suburb of Dublin City. The beach is a 5 minute walk from our home. There is a park across the road from our home. The is also a swimming pool, tennis courts and a gym 5 minutes walk away. The bus will take you into Dublin City Centre in 45 minutes and the train will take 20 minutes. We are withing walking distance of Malahide Village or 5 minutes on the bus. There is an English Language School in Malahide and should you wish to attend a course there we will make every effort to accommodate this. ll be welcomed as a member of our family!
