** MUST DRIVE** Spacious double room (not shared) available for live-in carer in Lucan, Co. Dublin— in exchange for 12 hours of home help per week. To live with low-dependence elderly woman who needs general day to day assistance. Help need with: -Bringing to ad hoc appointments (car available) -Light housework -Making some meals -Supermarket shopping and chemist visits. -General assistance and some personal care. -FULL DRIVERS LICENCE ESSENTIAL There is an option to apply for carer’s allowance/benefit as the woman has already qualified for the scheme. (€350 p/w + bonuses). There is use of a car for care related trips. The house is a 10 minute walk from Lucan village and 8 minute walk from a bus stop serving both the city centre and airport. Position may suit someone who is already working as a carer and doing shift work. Person must be comfortable with a cat being in the home. This post is for a genuinely caring, obliging and compassionate person. Someone who is happy to turn their hand to general care and light home tasks.
