Dear Au Pair, First, a big thank you! My family consists of a mother, father and a little baby. Beginning with mother, she is like any other mom; Loving, caring. She works from home as a technology manager. She loves to cook (mostly Indian) and is extremely innovative even in that aspect. Father is the cornerstone of our family. He is very flexible and works from home. Possessing the love for exercise, he invests a lot of his time in the gym, playing tennis, swimming and listening to music. The cute little one in our family is our baby. Being the cutest, luck is always on his side and touchwood he is blessed with a cutest smile. He loves helium balloons and chit chats. We enjoy watching movies during our leisure time. Yes, itʼs two cultures at home. Iʼm basically from India but working in Ireland since 2017 after completing my masters here in Ireland. My husband is also Indian and he has been living in Ireland since 2014. I basically moved to Ireland after the wedding. We have been busy with our careers for the last few years. We were blessed with a baby boy last October 2021. Iʼm planning to return to work in May 2022 as Iʼm currently on maternity leave. I would need some help looking after the baby while me & my husband work from home. Overall we are a loving, busy and active family. We would like the Au Pair to be independent and active like us. We are excited to welcome you to our busy yet happy & loving home. We want to invite you to be our Au Pair in Dublin, Ireland. Your stay would begin around Apr/May 2022 and will last for 3-6 months. We are very glad to take part in this cultural exchange and to help you improve your language skills and learn more about our culture. During your stay you will support us in activities related to our 6 month old baby Details of the job: - assisting in keeping the baby toys/ bottles/ baby clothes clean - assisting in changing diapers, playing with baby, putting baby to bed - assisting in cooking meals, picking up groceries During your time with us, we expect you to work around 35 hours a week. You will also have 1.5 free or complete 2 days a week to enjoy Ireland. We will also respect the working schedule in order for you to attend a language course. For your support to our family we will pay you XXX EUR a month as pocket money depending upon your work hours. We hope you have your health insurance which covers abroad medical and accident expenses during the length of your Au Pair stay with our family. If not let us know, will discuss. We are vegetarians and if you would like to eat meat outside the home thatʼs no problem at all but we wonʼt be cooking meat or eggs at home. We only prepare/cook vegetarian food at home. Hope you respect our culture and choice of food. Accommodation Details: Private bedroom and private bathroom with high levels of insulation and zoned heating controls. This is a new home constructed in 2020. All homes here in the neighbourhood are newly built. Kitchens come fully fitted with a dishwasher, cooking appliances and a fridge/freezer. Thereʼs also a separate utility room with below counter-top space provided for a washing machine and dryer. Double doors lead to the back garden, where thereʼs a paved patio area for making the most of the warm weather during summer months. Lucan is the area we live which is a 10-minute drive (or half an hour walk) away, with a selection of shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities. Several bus services run from the Lucan, with routes to Liffey Valley, Chapelizod, OʼConnell St and Merrion Square. The train station in Adamstown is just a five-minute drive away, with services to Heuston Station, Connolly Station, Grand Canal Dock and more. Due to CoVID-19 and other vulnerable diseases outside and our newborn isnʼt fully vaccinated, we are not meeting many people or organising any parties at home. We are trying our best to maintain and sanitise while we are outside and following government CoVID-19 guidelines. Hope you would understand and respect the same. We assure you that we will be responsible for your expenses during your Au Pair stay. We wonʼt be paying full expense for the flight tickets but willing to share a bit.
